Pet Children & the Lessons They Teach
I’ve noticed a trend in my readings with millennial women, many who like myself, aren’t keen on procreation this lifetime. That is, their spirit team sees their pet family members as actual children. Us pet people have all known this of course, the bonds we form and the love we have for our fur babies is dare I say often stronger than some of the bonds we have with other people! But i’ve noticed something even more “ah ha!” recently and I thought i’d confirm it with my guides and share with you all. I’d first like to mention, part of my bag-o-gifts seems to be a strong knack for spotting incoming children, ironic given i’m not a kid person myself. I’d say 99% of the time the guides are accurate when they inform me of an impending pregnancy, which is why I was flustered recently when I started off a reading with “are you pregnant?” and my client, to my horror, was unnerved to say the least, being that she is NOT someone who wants kids and she was quite certain she was not pregnant. I dropped it, but then her guides circled back again, I said “I’m so sorry, they are being adamant about this incoming child, it’s like I can see it’s soul already, are you sure this isn’t your kid?” she said no way, but then I finally had a thought and I asked her and her guides “wait a minute, is this a dog?” Her guides immediately gave me a yes and she said “oh well yes actually we are getting another dog soon we’ve already made arrangements. We have his name picked out and everything!” We had a laugh and a big sigh of relief that this “pregnancy” wasn’t an unplanned and undesired human baby but in fact the energy of an incoming “fur child.” But even after the session I was curious, i’ll explain how exactly I perceive energy/communication/channel in another post but for now I’d like to say I was upset that i’d gotten the details of that “hit” wrong, when the knowing I received was exactly identical to that of actual pregnancy and I wanted to know why so I wouldn’t misinterpret the next time.
In typical post-session fashion I completely forgot to get around to asking my guides the questions, but then the same thing happened to me in my own personal reading with another gifted psychic medium (therapists have their own therapists and all that) This woman was annoyingly adamant about a human child in my future, I explained that i’m not the birthing type and that the only children in my future will be a pack of dogs, possibly some donkeys and horses and throw in an alpaca for good measure haha, but it’s an unwavering “no” on my end to kids. She insisted that was not what she was seeing and I just awkwardly moved past the topic. She’d been spot on throughout the session but not about this, despite her having 20 years more experience than I do interpreting channeled energy (which can of course happen in any reading I highly recommend taking what resonates and tabling what doesn’t whenever you have a session with any kind of light worker.) But then I remembered I had a similar incident (and have had a few more since though now i know better to ask “human or dog baby?”) and i decided i’d finally sit my ass down and ask some questions to gain some clarity around why this keeps happening. So I asked my guides, “why am I perceiving dog spirits the same as human souls?” and the answer I got back was “dogs have souls.” The energetic download I received with that was along these lines: They are evolving just as we are, and their life purposes are growing more complex. For human souls who do not wish to parent other human souls in this lifetime, these bonds allow them to learn similar life lessons (I’m not implying it’s exactly the same as parenting a human being, of course it’s not as complex, but love is love and the core lessons of the heart are rather simple really.) Given that earth is a very overcrowded school these days it makes sense to me that older souls would wish to minimize their impact and focus on healing their own various fears carried over many lifetimes, while still having the opportunity to learn lessons around love and parenthood. (This is not to exclude souls who have human children and pet children that they love, you all of course are experiencing the love and growth on all fronts!)
To see to it that we get to have this opportunity to grow the heart through love and loss and love again our souls will make “soul contracts” with fur loved ones! Some of us have dogs/cats/horses etc. who have incarnated on the physical plane together over multiple lifetimes, and even more exciting, many will come back to you multiple times in your current lifetime. I’ve witnessed this in my personal life and the guides have brought it up in readings, recently I’ve had multiple readings where a beloved dog soul has come through to let their bonded human know they are ready to come back again, with specific requests such as a bigger yard or larger dog body haha!
